Overview

The Biotechnology course is designed to provide students with an introduction to the field of biotechnology. The course covers the basic principles of biotechnology and its applications in the life sciences. The course includes lectures, laboratory sessions, and field trips.

Many career opportunities are available for those with a background in biotechnology. Some of the more popular career choices include working as a research scientist, a medical doctor, a pharmaceutical researcher, or an environmental scientist.
