Overview

The Department of Business Administration (DBA) was established in the Faculty of Management Sciences at Sahara University in 2015. It is one of the leading business schools in Pakistan.

The DBA offers a wide range of degree programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Undergraduate programs include the Bachelor of Economics and Business (BEB) and the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA). The DBA also offers a range of graduate programs, including the Master of Science in Business Administration (MSBA), the Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA), and the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA).

Career Opportunities

Many business administration career opportunities are available for those with a business administration degree. The degree is a broad one that can lead to much different management and administrative positions in a variety of businesses.

 

The most common business administration career opportunities are in the field of accounting. Accountants are responsible for keeping track of the financial records of a company and ensuring that they are accurate. They may also be responsible for preparing financial statements and tax returns. Other business administration career opportunities include human resources managers, marketing managers, and sales managers. These positions may require a bachelor’s degree in business administration, but many companies prefer to hire those with a master’s degree in the field.

Management positions may include project managers, operations managers, and human resources managers. Upon successful completion of the Business Administration program, students will be able to:

1. Understand the role of business in society and the ethical implications of business decisions

2. Analyze the impact of global factors on businesses

3. Understand the financial statements of a business and use financial analysis to make business decisions

4. Understand and apply principles of marketing to create and execute marketing plans

5. Understand and apply principles of management to create and execute business plans

6. Understand and apply principles of human resources management to create and execute plans for staffing, training, and development

7. Understand and apply principles of information technology to create and execute plans for using information technology in businesses.
