Overview
The Department of Mathematics at Sahara University offers a wide range of courses in mathematics from the very basics of arithmetic and algebra to the most advanced graduate level. The department also offers a number of special programs, including the Master of Science in Mathematics, the Master of Arts in Mathematics, and the Ph.D. in Mathematics.
Career Opportunities
There are a number of career opportunities available to those with a degree in mathematics. Many mathematicians work in the field of academia, teaching mathematics at the college level. Others may work as research mathematicians, developing new theories and conducting research in mathematical fields. Some mathematicians work in the private sector, using their skills to develop new financial models or to develop new algorithms for businesses. There are also a number of government jobs available to mathematicians, such as working as an actuary or as a statistician.
